SUMMARY:Crossroads - Jazz and More in Emilia-Romagna
DESCRIPTION:The Crossroads festival is a musical marathon that spans the entire Emilia-Romagna region: the 2026 edition will take place from March 3 to July 31\, with over 60 concerts distributed across more than twenty municipalities throughout the regional territory. The constant shifts from one city to another and from one musical style to another (with jazz being the benchmark) give the festival its strong identity: a great journey made up of musical and geographical discoveries. \nThe scale of the program allows for a panoramic view of jazz in all its styles—ancient\, modern\, and futuristic—as well as improvised music\, the universes of black music\, and world music. \nFor more information and the complete list of all dates in Emilia-Romagna\, please visit the website.

SUMMARY:FIABESKA
DESCRIPTION:From May 30 to August 30\, 2026\, the Rocca di Dozza Museum will host FIABESKA\, a solo exhibition by Omar Galliani\, curated by Agnese Tonelli. \nThe exhibition brings together over 40 works created by the artist from the 1970s to the present day\, including drawings on paper\, silk paper\, and poplar wood panels. The collection highlights Galliani’s research into the evocative power of the mark\, capable of investigating intimate and symbolic dimensions linked to recurring themes such as the female figure and the rose\, conveying a poetic and suspended image of his artistic language. The exhibition thus invites visitors to an immersive experience within his imagination\, where drawing becomes a space for memory and contemplation. \nFor more information\, please visit the link

SUMMARY:Calma e Gesso
DESCRIPTION:The Art of Living Slowly\n\nThe first edition of Calma e Gesso is a multisensory festival\, on a human scale\, where time remains suspended and not rigidly determined. A genuine and spontaneous approach invites you to follow the rhythms of nature and set aside the regular ticking of clocks and daily routines. A journey backward\, “from the universe of precision to the world of approximation\,” to quote philosopher Alexandre Koyré. \nThe schedule will follow nature’s rhythms: participatory activities and routes—free or guided—will begin\, as far as possible\, without phones and without satellite watches. A concert\, strictly unplugged (acoustic)\, will take place “around” sunset; departure for a trek will be “approximately” at dawn; a participatory shared lunch will arrive “more or less” when the sun is at its zenith. \nEvents capable of engaging all the senses and diverse audiences\, to bring visitors closer to a rich and unique environment and\, at the same time\, allow Park residents to experience the territory with greater awareness. \nHow to Participate \nParticipation is free and requires advance booking by completing the form available on the website www.trailromagna.eu \nThe locations are accessible via the Park’s official trails\, which will be equipped with enhanced signage for the occasion. However\, we recommend choosing routes accompanied by the Park’s official guides: an experience that allows you to deepen your knowledge of the territory and experience with greater awareness an area of extraordinary universally recognized value. \nGuided routes require a participation fee of €5.00\, which can be booked and paid directly on the website www.trailromagna.eu \nParticipants in guided routes also enjoy priority in the count of available places\, which are subject to limited capacity. \nProgram\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOmbrelloni – Riviera Blues\nFirst date of the Calma e Gesso festival at Ca’ Budrio\nMunicipality: Riolo Terme (RA)\nLocation: Speleological refuge – Ca’ Budrio\nPeriod: June 14\, 2026\nA performance by Iacopo Gardelli with Lorenzo Carpinelli and music by Giacomo Toschi. SUMMARY:Exhibition: Nordic Table Design. A Silent Women's Revolution (1900-1970)
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition scheduled from June 20 to January 10\, 2027 presents approximately forty-five women designers\, artists and intellectuals from the period between 1900 and 1970\, telling a new story of design\, made up of multiple voices\, against the backdrop of the struggle for equal rights. \nIt traces the work and working conditions of these women who\, with a humanistic and typically feminine approach to design and direct knowledge of domestic needs\, carried out a “silent revolution” in the way of conceiving the table and\, more generally\, in women’s lives. \nThey redesigned plates\, glasses\, pots and cutlery\, making them more functional and economical without ever sacrificing beauty; they experimented with new materials\, colors and shapes\, according to the principle of the Modern Movement in which “form follows function”. \nA large number of high-quality artistic pieces\, partly in production\, on loan from companies\, partly historical pieces from private collections and museums\, describes the creative activity and working conditions of seventy years of women’s design of tableware. The exhibited artifacts testify to how table design represented much more than a simple aesthetic or functional pursuit: an authentic laboratory of social experimentation\, capable of redefining domestic roles\, family relationships and cultural models. \nThere is a special connection with the Faenza Prize\, International Ceramic Art Competition: from 1964 to 1974\, the section dedicated to industrial design was active\, with honorary prizes\, gold medals from the President of the Republic\, the Senate and the Chamber. \nMany Nordic manufacturers with women designers participated consistently: among these\, numerous prizes were awarded to Grete Ronning\, Marianne Westman\, Rut Bryk\, Hertha Bengtson to mention some of the best-known names. These award-winning artifacts are part of the MIC Faenza collection and will be displayed in a dedicated section of the exhibition. \nThis exhibition intends to retrace a fundamental moment in European design\, Faenza’s connection\, through essential silent protagonists. \nFrom June 23 to July 28\, at 6:00 PM\, every Tuesday guided aperitif tour of the exhibition. \nAdmission 3 euros\, in addition to the ticket price. Reservation required. The tour is held only upon reaching a minimum of 10 registered participants. \nRead more at\nwww.micfaenza.org
