DESCRIPTION:Every year in Fognano\, the well-established village festival “A tutta festa” takes place\, hosted at the parish hall and in the covered gastronomic stands set up for the event. Volunteers can rely on the well-equipped kitchen to prepare traditional Romagna dishes\, to be enjoyed against a splendid panorama of green and majestic hills. The menu features tagliolini with ragù and shallot sauce\, stuffed pasta\, polenta\, grilled Florentine steaks\, castrato and lamb skewers.   \nThe entire village mobilizes and lends a hand in organizing the festival. The offerings range from art or photography exhibitions\, with works displayed in the sports field facilities\, to the grand prize raffle\, to the now traditional exhibition of vintage motorcycles\, cars and agricultural vehicles: almost a century of history relived through the display of extraordinary unique “pieces”. For children there are clowns\, inflatables\, equestrian performances\, treasure hunts. DESCRIPTION:A typical product with the European PGI mark. The 34th edition of this event dedicated to shallot-based gastronomy.\nScheduled for Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday\, July 17/19 and 24/26\, 2026. \nScalogno di Romagna (Romagna Shallot)\, not to be confused with the French variety more commonly found in supermarkets\, is a typical product of the Province of Ravenna and more specifically of the Municipality of Riolo Terme. \nIt is an herbaceous garden plant belonging to the Liliaceae family and propagates via bulbs or\, more accurately\, bulbils. In the name of this small bulb with the high-sounding name of Allium Ascolanicum\, university researchers have mobilized\, and in 1997\, it obtained the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) which decrees its sovereign residence in this small corner of Romagna.  \nUnlike other Liliaceae\, such as garlic and onion\, it has no flower. Therefore\, there is no exchange of pollen between plants\, and reproduction always occurs solely through the bulb. Its violet-white color\, distributed over its flask-like shape\, is inviting and suggests tasty summer appetizers or robust autumn preparations. It is also ideal for preparing ragù or as a side dish\, in oil-preserved or pickled versions.    \nAnd it is precisely to discover and spread knowledge of this local excellence that since 1992 the Pro Loco of Riolo Terme has organized the Scalogno di Romagna PGI Fair on July 17/19 and 24/26.\nThe kitchen of the food stand\, open Saturday evening from 6:30 PM and Sunday at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM\, will offer its specialties using this fragrant and highly recognizable product\, unique in its flavor. \nDuring the two weekends\, there will be musical evenings with bands and orchestras\, markets\, and much more. \nAdditionally\, there will be an official sales point featuring producers from the Scalogno di Romagna PGI Consortium. \nRomagna Book Fair \nAVIS\, AIDO\, and PRO LOCO\, in conjunction with the Shallot Fair\, organize the Romagna Book Fair\, to which specialists in Romagna history\, traditions\, and cuisine are invited. DESCRIPTION:On July 24\, the historic center of Brisighella comes alive with “L’ERA ORA – Greetings from Brisighella\,” a unique summer event featuring an evocative progressive dinner through courtyards\, gardens\, and private spaces opened exceptionally for one night only. \nThe initiative offers an experiential journey of local flavors\, wine tastings\, live music\, art\, and social gatherings\, showcasing the village’s cultural and landscape heritage. \nBorn from the energy and creativity of a group of local youths\, L’ERA ORA represents a new way to experience and showcase the town\, promoting social interaction\, culture\, and experiential tourism.
