DESCRIPTION:Odysseys and Shipwrecks of Migrants in the Eastern Mediterranean is the exhibition by Italo Rondinella at the Museo San Domenico di Imola\, scheduled from October 17\, 2026 to February 7\, 2027.\nThrough photographs\, sounds\, and objects collected along the eastern migration route\, Rondinella recounts the stories of migrants and what remains of their journeys across the Mediterranean. An intense and engaging experience that transforms images and traces of the journey into memory and testimony.  \nThe project stems from the photographer’s experience in Turkey\, where since 2013 he has documented one of the principal migration routes toward Europe. An exhibition that invites visitors to observe and listen\, bringing people and the stories concealed behind the migration phenomenon back to the center.

SUMMARY:Halloween - Samhain Celtic New Year's Eve
DESCRIPTION:Musical performances\, processions\, and battles will bring the Celtic New Year 2025 to life!\n\nIn the Romagna of old\, the passage from October to November was considered the New Year. \nThe origin of this calendar start date was Celtic (the same as American Halloween night). It was believed that the dead returned to earth to “set everything right” after the conclusion of the agricultural production cycle and thus prepared for the next one.  \nThe Riolo night\, the first in Italy and scheduled for October 31\, increasingly rediscovers the meaning of its origins.\nThroughout the town\, you will find a dimension somewhat outside of real time\, with reconstructions of ancient Celtic villages and their rituals. \nThe main theme is always the eternal struggle between good and evil\, with clashes of fantastic creatures and parades through the town streets. \nAt the food stands\, you can taste traditional dishes and fine local wine\, also available in its mulled wine variant. \nVarious markets will also be set up with countryside products and other items strictly related to the Celtic theme. \nThe music will be performed by powerful drum bands accompanying the multiple parades of performance groups. \nAt approximately midnight on October 31\, the “final clash.” Evil against the forces of triumphant good and the evocative burning of the monster in the moat of the Fortress.  \nAnd to conclude this magnificent evening\, an explosion of fireworks from inside the castle. \nFor information\nPro Loco Riolo Terme\nwww.rioloterme-proloco.it\nprolocorioloterme@gmail.com
