As part of the GenerAzioni<\/em> series, Saturday, September 19 at 6:00 PM<\/strong>, at the Imola Municipal Library<\/strong>, at via Emilia 80<\/strong>, an encounter with Leonardo Piccione<\/strong> will be held for the presentation of his latest book, Things to Do at Night in the Arctic Circle<\/em>, published by Neri Pozza<\/strong> in 2026.<\/p>\n

The book stems from the author’s stay on Gr\u00edmsey<\/strong>, the most remote of the Icelandic islands, located on the Arctic Circle. In a place populated by thousands of seabirds and a tiny community of fishermen at risk of extinction, Leonardo Piccione<\/strong> gathers experiences, encounters, and stories of daily life. <\/p>\n

Among walks, chess games, recipes for preparing cod, and landscapes of the far North, the stories of the people who inhabit the island above all take shape, in a narrative that accompanies the discovery of a far-off community and territory.<\/p>\n
