CONSELICE<\/h2><\/div>

Conselice<\/b> , a municipality in the province of Ravenna, unifies three distinct population centers: Conselice, (municipal seat), San Patrizio and Lavezzola. No more than 50 kilometers from three of the main centres of Emilia Romagna (including Bologna). Conselice is also close to Ferrara and to the municipality of Argenta, to Ravenna and the closer municipality of Alfonsine, to the municipalities of Lugo and\u00a0 Massa Lombarda and to the west area close to Bologna and to the municipality of Imola.<\/p>\n

Originally a lagoon land, a crossroads of important trades that connected Imola to the southern branch of the Po river, Conselice has always been a protagonist of the Romagna scene as a flat and flourishing municipality, very rich, not only in resources, but also in opportunities. Conselice occupies a prominent place in what concerns both the economy (especially agricultural) and the local gastronomy to which, especially in recent years, an eye has been turned. A key role is then also played by tourism, which is gradually increasing especially thanks to the numerous infrastructures with which the municipality has decided to promote its territory.<\/p>\n

The climate<\/b> of the municipality, like that of other cities in Romagna and Emilia, is naturally influenced, not only by geographical location in the sense of latitude, but also by distance from the sea and altitude (6 meters above sea level). The climate (climate zone E), which is temperate, has fairly sharp divisions between seasons with relatively harsh winters and warm summers; then in the intermediate seasons most of the rainfall is concentrated, which, in the coldest winter months, can even take on a snowy character.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The frogs of Conselice<\/h3>\n

    Conselice frogs are a typical product of this area of lower Ravenna.<\/p>\n

    In the past it was the frogmen who procured the frogs for the skilled azd\u00f2re who cooked them with love and skill. This profession no longer exists. In any case, it is still remembered today how the frogmen were able to catch frogs using bait made of rags and socks. To catch small animals, people used to make long stakeouts with carbide lamps and had to use
