The Art of Living Slowly

The first edition of Calma e Gesso is a multisensory festival, on a human scale, where time remains suspended and not rigidly determined. A genuine and spontaneous approach invites you to follow the rhythms of nature and set aside the regular ticking of clocks and daily routines. A journey backward, “from the universe of precision to the world of approximation,” to quote philosopher Alexandre Koyré.

The schedule will follow nature’s rhythms: participatory activities and routes—free or guided—will begin, as far as possible, without phones and without satellite watches. A concert, strictly unplugged (acoustic), will take place “around” sunset; departure for a trek will be “approximately” at dawn; a participatory shared lunch will arrive “more or less” when the sun is at its zenith.

Events capable of engaging all the senses and diverse audiences, to bring visitors closer to a rich and unique environment and, at the same time, allow Park residents to experience the territory with greater awareness.

How to Participate

Participation is free and requires advance booking by completing the form available on the website www.trailromagna.eu

The locations are accessible via the Park’s official trails, which will be equipped with enhanced signage for the occasion. However, we recommend choosing routes accompanied by the Park’s official guides: an experience that allows you to deepen your knowledge of the territory and experience with greater awareness an area of extraordinary universally recognized value.

Guided routes require a participation fee of €5.00, which can be booked and paid directly on the website www.trailromagna.eu

Participants in guided routes also enjoy priority in the count of available places, which are subject to limited capacity.
