AlphaTauri
AlphaTauri
Established in 2005 after being purchased by the Minardi team, a historic Faenza-based team created by Giancarlo Minardi, Scuderia Toro Rosso has participated in the Formula 1 World Championship since the following year. Underlying the creation of the team there lies a desire to create a space for young talents from the Red Bull Junior Driver Program.
Upon founding, the team began operating as a satellite of Red Bull Racing, relying on Red Bull Technology to develop the race cars. However, since 2010 and thanks to the intensive expansion program involving facilities in Romagna and Great Britain, Scuderia Toro Rosso has been operating completely independently in the factory in Via Boaria in Faenza, where the entire single-seater design and production process takes place.
