Festival of fox pear and aged cheese

The second Sunday in November is dedicated to the Volpina Pear and Mature Cheese Festival. Small volpine pears, an indigenous product of the Lamone Valley, can be eaten boiled or cooked in wine or water, or baked; perhaps tasting in the meantime the renowned Brisighellese aged cheese, a pecorino aged in chalk caves.
