Romagna-themed cycling readings from the pages of Alfredo Oriani, a visit to his house museum, and a snack.
Sunday, October 4 – 2:30 PM
In collaboration with the Primola association, we will discover some of the most captivating pages from the writings of Alfredo Oriani, a writer from Casola who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries. He was a great cycling enthusiast, to the point of being considered the first bicycle tourist in Italy. The reading will be held in the beautiful park surrounding his home, now a Museum, and will be followed by a guided tour of the house itself—a rare example of a perfectly furnished 19th-century manor house. At the end, a delicious snack will offer the opportunity for a pleasant moment of conviviality.
