A village to experience, many wines to discover.

On the weekend of October 2, 3, and 4, Brisighella will host Borgo diVino on Tour for the fourth consecutive year, the series of events dedicated to excellence in fine drinking promoted by the “The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy” Association. An entire weekend of tastings with hundreds of offerings from across the country.

In the land of Sangiovese, visitors will be able to taste a selection of wines from the finest Italian wineries. Over 100 labels from more than 30 wineries present in the Emilia-Romagna region and others from across Italy including Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Piedmont, Sardinia, Marche, Molise, Umbria, Lazio, Sicily, Puglia, and more.

Borgo diVino is an event open to everyone, not just connoisseurs: enthusiasts, amateurs, the curious, and passing tourists can be captivated by a selection of quality wines, to be tasted with a special voucher costing €20.

Those most interested in the world of wine will also be able to discover an educational pathway that explains over 20 different aspects of the wine world through panels, including food-wine pairing, the appropriate glass for each wine, recommended temperatures, terroirs, and much other information.

Not just wine: the best gastronomic pairings at Borgo DiVino

Accompanying the tastings, a gastronomic area will be set up where participants can delight in typical local dishes and other delicacies, further enriching the sensory and cultural experience offered by the event.

An additional space will be reserved for the promotion of the typical products of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, a unique heritage in terms of quality and biodiversity; the initiative will be carried out in synergy with the MIB – Mercato Italiano dei Borghi, the project curated by the Association “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” in institutional cooperation with BMTI – Borsa Merci Telematica Italiana, aimed at the valorization of the typical and quality productions of the associated territories.

How it works

Borgo diVino is a free-access event, open to everyone. Only those who wish to taste the wines present can purchase (online or directly on-site) a voucher costing €20 which entitles them to 8 wine tastings of their choice from the wineries present*.
