THE SLOW FLOWER WORKSHOP
An experiential workshop to observe nature in its moment of awakening and transform it into a creation. The activity begins with a guided tour through the Garden’s crops to discover the plants awakening after winter and the first seasonal blooms. A journey of observation and storytelling to recognize shapes, colors, scents, and natural cycles. This will be followed by a workshop dedicated to natural composition: using the materials collected, each participant will create a unique botanical piece, experimenting with combinations, volumes, and textures, guided by slowness and instinct.

During the tour, participants will explore the properties and uses, both ancient and modern, of edible plants, discovering how each plant has a story to tell and a fundamental role in culinary tradition. The garden’s recipes will offer participants an opportunity to learn about the connections between nature and cuisine, inspired by the culinary message of Prof. Augusto Rinaldi Ceroni. At the end of the walk, visitors can enjoy a picnic, created in collaboration with Da Lori Piadineria, featuring traditional dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, celebrating local flavors and the garden’s aromatic herbs.
