“Gather round, Ladies and Lords, at the Castle of Medicina for His Majesty Emperor Frederick Barbarossa!”
As it has every year for over three decades, Medicina commemorates the arrival of Emperor Frederick I of Swabia, known as Barbarossa, with a three-day medieval-themed festival featuring jugglers, knights, archers, witches, drummers, and storytellers.
From September 18 to 20, lose yourself in the streets of the village, amidst the scents and flavors of yesteryear, where myth meets legend.
