Following the great success of the first edition, Inside Castel Guelfo returns, the original format conceived and developed specifically for Castel Guelfo di Bologna through the synergy between the Municipal Administration and director Luca Guardabascio.
Inspired by the celebrated American show Inside the Actors Studio, the format offers an exclusive encounter with some of the most beloved protagonists of Italian television, cinema, and theater. Through an authentic and engaging dialogue, Luca Guardabascio, moderator of the shows, guides the audience in discovering the more human side of the protagonists, weaving together career stories, personal anecdotes, and moments from private life.
The title Inside evokes a double meaning: on one hand, the audience is welcomed inside the walls of one of the most evocative villages in the Italian province; on the other, they are symbolically invited to enter the most intimate universe of the artists, in an atmosphere of great closeness and sharing.
For 2026, Inside Castel Guelfo returns with two consecutive appointments hosted in the historic Palazzo Malvezzi Hercolani.
Opening the series on Friday, July 24, will be Simona Izzo and Ricky Tognazzi, protagonists of an evening dedicated to stories of a long career spanning cinema, television, and personal life.
The second evening, Saturday, July 25, will see Andrea Mingardi, Paolo Mengoli, and Fabio Mazzari take the stage for an encounter rich in music, performance, and memories.
The 2026 edition is realized with the support of Fondazione Entroterre, which has overseen graphic communication, promotion, technical aspects, and artist logistics. Thanks to this collaboration, Inside Castel Guelfo officially enters the program of Entroterre Festival – Culture e Territori in Festival, the prestigious calendar of events that, from July to September, brings life to some of the most beautiful villages in Italy with performances, concerts, and cultural initiatives.
