The Lorenzo Bandini Trophy, established in 1992 in memory of the unforgettable Italian driver, is a prestigious international award presented annually to a prominent figure in the world of Formula 1, selected by a dedicated committee. The award ceremony takes place in Brisighella, a town deeply connected to Lorenzo Bandini’s youth.
For the 2026 edition, the Bandini Trophy will be awarded to Andrea Kimi Antonelli.
The young Italian Mercedes driver, protagonist of an extraordinary start to the season that currently sees him leading the Formula 1 World Championship, will receive the prestigious award on May 30.
The award is presented to drivers who distinguish themselves not only for their results on track, but also for the talent and future prospects demonstrated throughout their career.
The official ceremony will be held in Brisighella, in Piazza Marconi, at 6:00 PM.
