Olive and Olive Oil Festival

The last event of November in Brisighella is the Olive and Oil Festival. The cultivation of olive trees in Brisighella dates back to ancient times: as early as Roman times, the olive tree was already known, appreciated and valued. The festival celebrates and promotes the well known extra-virgin olive oil, “Brisighello,” which has been awarded with the D.O.P. protected designation of origin, as well as the refined “Nobil Drupa”.
