Pumpkin and Bacarona Grape Festival

On October 10 and 11, 2026, the traditional Pumpkin and Bacarona Grape Festival returns to Borgo Rivola (a hamlet of Riolo Terme), an opportunity to savor the flavors of autumn and gather together, young and old alike, around the bonfire in the farmyard.
Protagonists of the Pumpkin and Bacarona Grape Festival will be the various types of pumpkins (decorative, edible, or labor) and Bacarona Grapes, a type of red table grape that has the characteristic of ripening in October.
Program
Two days of Romagna flavors, themed market stalls, music, and entertainment for the whole family.
Food stand with Romagna specialties produced by the Pro Loco:

Try the trio of tortelli: pumpkin, potato, and chestnut.
Saturday from 6:30 PM:

From 2:30 PM, music with Antonella Muti & Loris Ceroni and children’s entertainment with face painting, soap bubbles, baby dance, and colorful balloons.
At 5:30 PM, presentation of the book “The Chestnut Groves of the Senio Valley (the reality of Borgo Rivola),” written by Roberto Rinaldi Ceroni.
