Spoja Lorda Festival
19 April
A day dedicated to the simplest of dishes.
Spoja Lorda is a fresh pasta made with hand-rolled dough.
A delicious filling made of fresh cheese, Parmesan, eggs, and nutmeg is spread over the dough and then covered with another layer.
Small stuffed squares are then cut with a pastry wheel; they are excellent served dry with classic sauces like ragù or in broth.
During the day, there will be food stalls and a market of typical local products in Ugonia Park.
The occasion will also celebrate “spring primroses”: vegetables and legumes that awaken after the long winter frost, bringing flavor and health to our tables.
