Ascension Festival

A festival originating from devotion to the Blessed Virgin of Health.
The Ascension Festival of Solarolo is the most important festival in the town and is deeply felt by the entire community.
Since 1995, the year of its establishment, it has been organized by Pro Loco Solarolo, which has promoted and developed the festival.
The program includes musical events, shows, entertainment, exhibitions, and a market through the streets of the town.
At the food stands, visitors can taste traditional Romagna dishes as well as typical Valle d’Aosta specialties prepared by the twin town of Rhemes Notre Dame (Valle d’Aosta), who will also set up a well-stocked exhibition of their typical products.
During the festival scheduled from Thursday, May 14 to Monday, May 18, 2026:
- Food stands with Romagna and Valle d’Aosta specialties
- From Thursday to Monday: German stand with beer and German specialties – Valle d’Aosta stand with typical products
- Vintage motorcycle and bicycle exhibition
- Amusement park
- Shops open
- Exhibitions and many other initiatives…
From Thursday to Sunday, the twin towns from Valle d’Aosta (Proloco Rhêmes-Notre-Dame) and Germany (Unisono Verein für kommunale Partnerschaft e.V. Kirchheim am Ries) will be present, offering their specialties as well as selling typical products.
Exhibitions and an amusement park will be available throughout the festival.
